Blueprint magazine
Gill was Publishing Director of Blueprint, the London magazine of architecture, design and contemporary culture. Her biography says it is where she established herself in the British design scene.
Her agency biography puts it simply: at Blueprint "she established herself within the world renown British design scene".
Blueprint was founded in 1983 by Peter Murray and Deyan Sudjic. Gill's honorary doctorate citation from the University of South Australia and her 2016 AM citation both list the role in her design career.
